XATA Corporation to Enhance Austin Powder’s Fleet Safety and Compliance
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., November 13, 2007 - XATA Corporation (NASDAQ: XATA) today announced that Austin Powder, a privately-held manufacturer and carrier of commercial explosives for construction, mining, quarrying and seismic exploration, has selected XATA’s on-demand, web-based XATANET software to improve the safety, compliance and security of its fleet. Austin Powder owns the 60thlargest dedicated fleet in the nation.The Cleveland, Ohio-based explosives manufacturer operates in excess of 600 company-owned vehicles, on which XATANET will be deployed on a combination of Class 6, 7 and 8 trucks and medium-duty trucks that use OBD-II systems, which must comply with State and Federal hazardous material regulations.

XATANET also measures fuel usage, vehicle idle times, speeding time and driver-shifting patterns, all while providing real-time, two-way truck-to-base communications to optimize operations for increased performance.
